The Magical Watch
There was once a man named George, who was now a very strong
79-year-old man. He was a very intelligent scientific inventor before he retired.
He is also a very loving man because the only family member he knew was
his father, his mother died since he was a baby, as hard as he tried to
remember her, George just couldn't do it - so he had to love his father
with all his life and much more, but deep in his heart , he really loved his mother.
And now that his father has passed away too, he had to live his old life in his flat
number 18, floor one ( all the old people who couldn't walk up and down stairs
had to stay on the first floor ) all alone. He was very lonely and he really missed
his father, he wished time hadn't passed away so fast and he didn't waste all
those precious times he could have had with his father all those years.
Until one day …
George had an idea. An idea that was most unlikely to happen. All he had to
do was build a watch that can project scenes of him and his dad from the past
by just choosing the time on his watch. But how could it happen? Well he was
a scientific inventor. Could that possibly help a tiny bit?
So George set of to work. For what seemed like minutes, turned into hours,
hours turned into days, days turned into months, months turned into years
but for all those times, George failed and failed and failed once after another.
But George wasn't going to give in easily, the more he failed, the more he had
told himself to overcome his failure and that built his strong determination
of being able to see his father again.
At last!!!! Finally George had finished his invention made out of love.
He can now go back to see his joyous times with his beloved father ♥
George was so exited that night he couldn't sleep two winks! ( He slept for
only one wink )
On the next day George got out of bed early in the morning at six, got dressed
and prepared himself to watch his heart-warming scenes of his joyful
childhood with his father! When he watched the tresurous scenes he got both
sad and happy from missing his father and getting to see him again but then
George got angry at himself for not spending enough time with his father
while it was limited and very precious and didn't regret it for all his life
until then. He lost his temper and smashed his hand into the table which had
the magical watch on it and broke it into pieces. For the next few minutes
George found himself starring in horror at what he had done in the
suffering silence, when in a split second the silence broke - it broke
into a cry, George was sobbing miserably into his arms when he suddenly
thought of something : "Why am I just sitting here, feeling bad about what
I have done in the past and what I regret - I have to appreciate the positive things
I have done and tried to do and know what I have learned from my mistakes"
After that day, George spent the rest of his life helping people and
being kind to them, just like his father did, even though he couldn't give
the best the could to his father anymore like his father gave to him,
he decided to give it to the world.
